A Slow Saturday

My weekends tend to be very unexciting.  I don't really plan them that way, it's just the way life seems to work out for me.  Right now, for example, I'm sitting in the living room quietly because my boyfriend is napping on the couch.  The cats are napping in here too.  I'm the only one who isn't napping.  In fact, I don't know how to nap really.  Never could.  That used to get me into trouble when I was in Kindergarten.

Today we rearranged the furniture in the living room.  Switched some stuff around and dragged in the love seat to provide more sitting spots for people if people decide to come over.  I like it.  It feels more open in here now.  I've been wanting to do that for weeks and now that we've finally done it I feel like I don't have anything else to do this weekend.

My big plans for this weekend now include watching a couple of discs of NCIS I rented from Netflix, maybe watching a few episodes of 'Bleach' on Hulu, and folding laundry.  What a glamorous life I lead!  Oh well.  I guess I should enjoy the slow days while they last.  Like I mentioned before, my boyfriend and I are hoping to start a family soon and I know that will bring an end to the slow days and boring weekends.  I'm almost looking forward to it.

I got an email yesterday saying that my messenger bag was shipped from Amazon and that it should arrive on Monday.  A big thank you to everyone who crossed there fingers and got it shipped early.  You guys are awesome.  I think it's about time to wake the boyfriend up.  Besides, I'm getting bored just sitting here all quiet like.  It's time to go and enjoy my slow Saturday. =P
